How to play
Carte Blanche Geo is a geography guessing game with twelve different modes.
Each round shows you a clue — a country's outline, its flag, a satellite photo
of one of its cities, a dish it's known for, and more — and you pick the
correct answer from four choices. Build a streak, earn hints, and see how much
of the world you actually know.
- Outline — guess the country from its shape alone.
- Flag — guess the country from its flag.
- Life Path — a birth and death location on the map; guess who it was.
- When? and What? — guess the year or the event from a short description.
- City — guess the city from a satellite photo.
- Leader — guess the head of state or government.
- Neighbors — guess a country from the list of countries it borders.
- Exports — guess a country's top export.
- Colonizer — guess which empire once colonized a given country.
- Capitals — guess a country's capital city.
- Cuisine — guess the country a dish comes from.
- Timeline and All — an endless higher/lower run, or a random mix of every mode above.
There's also a Daily Challenge — twelve questions, one from
each mode, the same for every player every day — plus optional accounts to
track your stats and appear on the leaderboard.
